The Makerhub is a micro-fabrication co-working space, providing access to maker technology and fabrication tools to its tenants. A series of quality spaces are created through the use of architectural furniture interventions as the grand gestures in the design of the space.

The stair feature and the Tube are the centerpieces of the project, they are visible as soon as one enters the building. The stair can be used as sitting steps for presentations and events. The tube is lit with recessed LED strips which highlight the main portal to transition from the clean digital workspaces into the rugged workshop area and service corridor.

The atrium is the nucleus of the project and serves as the visual and physical connection between all the different spaces. With the architectural furniture interventions and ample natural light, the atrium is a versatile space serving for a variety of functions such as a lectures, co-working, and events.
